Ideal for fixed and robot mounted applications, retrofit of hydraulic cylinders is easy. The high performance electromechanical actuators consist of an SKF planetary roller screw directly driven through a coupling by a brushless motor. A planetary gear box is associated in some configurations for the electromechanical actuators. The roller screw converts rotary motion into linear movement.
